OOTD

It's been a while I haven't posted here any OOTD pics. I used to do that on Sundays after coming home from church before I change my clothes. So today being Sunday, we had our Sunday School and worship service. It's Vena's birthday so we sang a birthday song for her. She's one of our church members and she used to teach the kids in Sunday School. She's on vacation from Singapore where she works as a nurse. She invited us all to their house for her birthday celebration. They butchered a pig and they cooked lots of delicious foods. We all had happy tummies. Before we left, Vena's sister gave us some graham cake to take home. That was so sweet of her. We are so thankful to Vena for the invite. She will be going back to SG on Tuesday. She's only here for 10 days vacation. We pray that God will bless her with good health, more birthdays to come, more strength and endurance to do her job and more blessing to come her way.

When  I got home, I asked my li'l brother to take my pics just in front of our house. He's staying in our house now because he's driving for us while hubby is recuperating from his eye surgery.  So here are the pics that he took, wearing my OOTD. The red blouse I'm wearing was given to me by Rose a couple of years ago. I just bought the black belt at the mall last week. My black skirt is old and so are my sandals. The LV bag I'm using is newly bought and it's genuine. Love it. I thank God for all the blessings He bestowed on me and hubby. To God be the glory!

Here are pics at Vena's birthday celebration.

Hubby's Simple Birthday Celebration

Hubby celebrated his birthday last November 10th with just me and the fambam. It was not a fancy celebration, just a simple dinner this time. We had a lot expenses lately like hubby's eye surgery and our van had to be taken to the auto shop for repair. Timing belt broke and other parts needed to be replaced. Anyways, it's running good now.

I cooked potato salad, pancit, lumpia, rice and agar-agar salad for dessert. My li'l brother cooked the duck with sprite and pineapple chunks. He calls the recipe patotin. He also fried the chicken legs. So yummy! I also bought a roll cake from Cindy's. Like I said, I didn't invite anybody but the fambam which includes my siblings and their families only. Not much picture taking, just me and hubby only. The photographer got lazy too. One good thing though, everybody got full especially the birthday celebrant and we had a lot of leftover.
