Layover In Chicago

It was 8 years ago when I first step foot in Chicago. It was November 2003 when hubby and I flew to California and we had a 4 hour layover at Chicago Midway International Airport. We didn't go out though, we just stayed inside the airport and waited for our flight to Cali. I just looked outside through the window glass in the airport and looked around. How I wished hubby and I could go out and explore the windy city. I heard that there are lots of tourist attractions in Chicago so that's one place in my list that I wanna visit one of these days. Hubby and I can take the Chicago Limo Services from the airport to our hotel. I want to go around and explore the city. I wanna see the Millennium Park, the Buckingham Fountain, the Willis Tower, the Navy Pier and take a lot of pictures. Of course I won't forget to visit their Botanical Garden because I love gardens, flowers and nature. Expect the camera to click and click and upload it in facebook, lol!

Now back to our flight to Cali which took 4 hours. Our friends were already waiting on us at the airport. We stayed 3 weeks there at my friends' house and we had a lot of fun seeing the place for the first time. On our flight back home, we were stranded in the airport in Chicago because it was snowing that time. They were clearing the runway in the airport so our trip was delayed. Hubby hated waiting. Made me decide that when we go on vacation to Chicago, it should not be winter but either Spring or Fall to enjoy the trip.
