Late in Life

Who would have guessed that this late in life I would find a new hobby? When I was 40 years old I decided to start painting and here I am 3 years in and I love it! I’m not exactly Picasso but I sure do like my new hobby. As a stay at home mom my days are filled with mundane stuff like packing the kids’ lunch and researching directv vs disk but I can’t wait until the kids are old enough to do some of the stuff for themselves so I could take some time for myself. I have goals of signing up for a painting class at the local university so I can get better at it but I know that’s going to take time I don’t have right now! I guess it’s just nice to have a hobby to consume my time since before I took up painting I was getting really bored at home all day and now I can’t find enough time in the world!
