I've been so sleepy the whole day but I just can't because hubby and I have been running around. We went to the hardware store to buy some electrical wires for the house where we are having our Sunday worship services. We applied for electricity for that house and we had to get all the requirements and the materials needed. Tomorrow, the electrician will install the electric meter and the electric wires and then we'll just have to wait for the electric company to come and inspect it then connect the electricity.

From time to time I receive e-mails from hubby. Some of them I just keep in my inbox and if it catches my attention, I share it here. Well, here's one forwaded e-mail that he sent to me that made me smile. Men, this is for you guys. I hope it will make your day by reading it. Smile!!!
At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down
Finally , the guys' side of the story. (I must admit, it's pretty good.)
We always hear "the rules" from the female side.
Now here are the rules from the male side.
These are our rules!
Please note.. these are all numbered "1 "
1. Men are NOT mind readers.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat.
You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down.
We need it up, you need it down.
You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports It's like the full moon
or the changing of the tides.
Let it be.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want.
Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.
In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are.
Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one
1. You can either ask us to do something
Or tell us how you want it done.
If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials..
1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings.
Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched.
We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong.
We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine...Really .
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as football or golf.
1. You have enough clothes.
1.. You have too many shoes.
1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!
1. Thank you for reading this.
Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight;
But did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.
I blogged here before that I had my two teeth pulled. That was last month only and now I have a tooth problem again. My left canine tooth got broke last week. Last night I had to take a pain reliever because it was throbbing. I hate toothache. I need to go to the doctor first to get a clearance and then go to the dentist and have it pulled. I need to have the courage again to see a doctor and a dentist.

It's Saturday and hubby and I went to buy a ladder in the store. He need it to install some electric lights in the house where we hold our worship services. He don't want to borrow from other people so we had to sacrifice our budget just to buy it. The ladder we bought is made of aluminum, folded and 7 feet tall. It's so pricey, almost hundred dollars. Hubby just replaced the muffler of our car and next week we will have the hood of our car repainted. The paint is coming off. We have to limit our expenses so we will not be spending more than our means.
We're supposed to go on visitation this afternoon but it rained cats and dogs so we decided not to go. The farmers need the rain so their crops will thrive and will yield more. Tonight I cooked some foods for tomorrow's lunch after our service.

It's Sunday today and it's the day of the Lord. We had a great service this morning. First we had Sunday school and the kids were always eager to attend. In fact they were already there waiting on us when we arrived. My sister went with us and attend thought she's still weak and not feeling well. She wanted to join the worship service for the Lord. She said that she will serve the Lord all her life if the good Lord will give her another chance. She asked God to heal her illness so she can be used by the Lord for His ministry. We've been praying for her healing since she started to feel pain a few months ago. We believe the Lord will hear our prayers and heal her in His perfect time. After the Sunday school, we had our worship service. I was so glad that we had a full house again in the small living room of the house where we are holding our services. I really thank God for working on the lives of those people. They don't used to attend services before. Of course nobody invited them too. Though there's a church a mile away, it seems like nobody cared to witness to them and invite them to church.
My brother-in-law played the guitar and I led the praise and worship singing. He's very good in playing musical instruments and he has a good singing voice too. He even rendered a special song before the message. George message today is about The Living Water. I translated it in Tagalog so the people can fully understand. Most people don't understand English preaching especially if it's from an American. They said their English is too slang. So I tried the best way I can to translate it. Maybe later on if they will get use to listening to George's preaching, they won't need a translator. But for now, we gotta do what we gotta do to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I just pray that the Lord will deal with those people in our church and convict them of their sins so they will repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

I'm thankful that my two right molar teeth were already extracted and I have my dentures made. I still have a tooth problem though and that's my left canine tooth. It has a very big cavity and it's nearly broken. I'm just waiting for it to break and that's it. The dentist don't want to pull it unless I get a clearance from the doctor of my blood pressure. One dentist advised me to go to the hospital and have it pulled there. The other dentist told me to get a clearance then I'll go back to him and let him pull my canine tooth. Just thinking of going to the doctor make me nervous. I hope and pray that God will give me the courage and confidence to overcome this. Perfect love cast out fear and God is love.
This afternoon hubby and I drove to our friends' place but their front gate was locked. They probably went somewhere. Unfortunately, I forgot my cellphone at the house so I can't call them. Hubby decided to drive to the dairy farm and buy some fresh milk. It's been more than a month already that they didn't deliver milk so hubby can't wait anymore. He bought 3 bottles of milk and he will give one bottle to our friend, When we got home, hubby and I ate cereals with fresh milk for our snacks. Fresh milk from the dairy farm taste better than the milk sold in the grocery stores.

It's been busy days for me the past few days. I celebrated my birthday last week and I invited friends, neighbors, loved ones and my Sunday school kids. We prepared some foods enough to feed my invited guests like beef caldereta, chicken adobo, chop suey, goulash, fried chicken and 2 roll cakes. Two days after my birthday I had my dentures made. It took 2 days to finish it so now I already have my new dentures after 3 weeks of missing my 5 teeth. It was hard to chew my foods without my teeth. I am happy that my dentures look nice and the price is reasonable. Now I can smile as often as I can without covering my mouth.
