It was early morning a couple of weeks ago when two of my friends in the public high school where I used to work came to visit me. I just ate my breakfast when they came. They were the second batch who came to see me. I was so glad to see Oyet and most especially Madam Luz who was one of my closest friends before. She's a head teacher in Math and her daughter is my "inaanak". She's my kumare but I used to call her Madam Luz as a respect of her position in the school. Oyet was my classmate in high school but until now she's still single. I don't understand why she opted to become an old maid. I was playing cupid for her when I was still working in the school but she turned it down so I didn't insist. It's her lost and it's Richelle's gain. Maybe it's not her destiny to get married.
